Project Description

The scope of this project is to enable the analytics data to End user based on the data collected from sales, store space management and unproductive inventory in order to understand the sales per store space and also to produce predictive analytics for better store space and inventory management.

Project Description

National Australian Group Europe (NAGE) is the European retailing arm of National Australian Bank Group (NAB), providing financial services to over 3.4 million customers in UK and Ireland.

Accenture provides application development and management services for a number of the bank’s key enterprise and customer applications. EDS (Enterprise Data Services) is enterprise data warehouse application which is one of the applications supported by Accenture. The transactional data is collected from different source applications and stored in Oracle data warehouse which is then queried for SAS reporting and Business Objects reporting.

Project Description

TP2 (Transformation Program 2) is part of RSA initiative to reduce overall IS cost. The objective of this program is to re-platform mainframes applications including UKRIS onto windows using Micro Focus technologies.

The UKRIS application currently manages 37% of RSA Gross Written Premium (GWP), and is used primarily by Commercial Business with a small presence in Personal business. UKRIS supports a number of RSA products including Motability, Motor, Household, Professional Indemnity, Shops, Van, Property and Motor Fleet. UKRIS at its core has Policy, Claims, Accounts, Agency, Workflow, Image Management, and Print functions which are essential for a core insurance operation. It is unique in that it encompasses all the requirements of the business. UKRIS has been developed over time, formally as a Royal system, latterly being merged with Sun Alliance.

Major Activities Involved

Ø       Documenting the existing Application architecture.

Ø       Identifying the replacement technologies not compatible with Micro Focus.

Ø       Identifying the development tools requirements and development architecture

Ø       Identifying the data migration approach and data conversion requirements

AIS is one stop solution for most of the insurance functions like Policy Admin, Customers and Intermediary management, Accounting, Underwriting, Task and Notes, Product maintenance,  Documentation and interfaces etc..

This project involves providing maintenance and enhancement support for Marketing Database system that comprise of creating various Sales Reports and updating of various Tables used in this module. This module helps MetLife in marketing the policies to its prospective clients.

This marketing DB module gets input from various interfaces like CCX, Demographics, MSAM, EARS, MLFS and MPC Agents, NEF Policy, NEF Agents and from Tracking etc. and generates extracts, reports to satisfy the need of marketing people. Lead helps MetLife in driving business by providing help for their sales team to focus their time and efforts. The project involves providing Maintenance and Support as well as enhancement.

The objective of the project is to provide complete Development and Maintenance services for Agents support system.

This application is primarily used for the maintenance of Agents database and reporting of agent related information. Agent’s personal, professional details, commission related, bonus and loans related, and transaction records of each agent are maintained in VSAM datasets. To update all this information agents’ application gets input from various pc-based systems developed on oracle, d2k and AS400 systems. Using this information this application calculates the bonus and tax on commission agent receive. This application also deals with loans, saving schemes; incentives kind of benefits offered to agents and database is maintained for these in this system.
